Sales / Service Engineer

EDgineering is looking for sales engineer to boost our sales on 3D printers, Nikon Metrology and CNC machines.

Initially you will be working on sales, and after being successful with your first sale and integrated within the team and the company, you will be trained to be service engineer and technical expert in the field of manufacturing equipment.

You must hold a degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, and preferably with experience in machining equipment operation and maintenance. Knowledge of manufacturing machinery control systems is very desirable.

This will be a commission ONLY position initially until you make your First Sale, then after you will work on part/full time basis to perform the below duties.

We are looking for sales engineers in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.

Responsibilities:

  • Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential in designated regions.
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
  • Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required;
  • arranging and carrying out product training.
  • Analysing costs and sales.
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
